A few weeks earlier, I had the pleasure of meeting Betsy, the founder of Joya, a new handmade jewelry company based in St. Louis. Betsy and I clicked immediately, bonding over our mutual wanderlust, passion for entrepreneurship and our affinity for all things beautiful. I was blown away by her sparkling collection of jewelry. Made by artisans and designers in India, Indonesia, Europe and the U.S., Joya features handmade pieces with natural elements like freshwater pearls, chalcedony and druzy. I was immediately drawn to their gorgeous Rose Druzy Tassel Necklace. The color has hints of red, pink and purple, making it incredibly versatile to style.
I chose to pair it with the Anthropologie Terrace Swing Tank (now on sale), which is on one of my recent Wish Lists. The Red Druzy Tassel Necklace plays so well off of the beautiful pinks and purples of this tank, don’t you think?
About Betsy & Joya
Betsy was bitten by the travel bug a long time ago. Through her previous job at Arhaus furniture, she trekked the globe collecting exquisite home decor and furnishings. She visited Europe, South Asia and East Asia for much of her work. She even visited my ancestral hometown of Udaipur, Rajasthan. I knew I had to get to know her better when I discovered she had seen the Lake Palace in Udaipur.
It was astonishing to me that she had only started Joya three months prior and already had an entire collection ready for market. It was simply proof of her incredible drive and strong work ethic. Eager to learn her secrets to success, I sat with her for a one-on-one to learn how the idea for Joya emerged, how she manages to run her business, have another career and be a newlywed, and why she gives back to the countries of the artisans she works with.
I will be sharing her story and an exciting giveaway from Joya tomorrow. So please come back then to enter!
