If you are looking to inject color into your wardrobe this summer, look no further than Pallavi Jaipur.

Known for her vibrant runways, Pallavi Jaipur lights up the scene with her popular fusion designs. Originally Pallavi Murdia, she was raised where else, but Jaipur. After studying at the National Institute of Fashion Technology (Delhi) in 1998, her training continued with top Indian designers like Mukesh Luthra (Vandana), Malini, and Beena Ramani. She developed a vision for her own design studio, discovering trends and work that she hoped to incorporate into her signature aesthetic. Eventually, Pallavi set up her own fashion house with a troop of specialized artisans capable of bringing her designs to life.

While she designs both Indian and western clothing, she has a passion for fusion styles. She likes to mix classic and trendy aesthetics for a luxurious, yet youthful vibe. You will find an abundance of mirror work, mukesh work, gotta patti with sequins, beads and crystals, all amongst bold and vivid colors.

One of her recent collections takes one through a colorful bazaar. All the colors of the rainbow are highlighted by gorgeous crystals, beads, sequins, and traditional South Asian style handiwork. She was inspired by the markets of her hometown, Jaipur. Colors were blended together with abandon bringing an added one-two punch of bold brights. These pieces below are available online at Cityblis.
For her latest collection, Kingdom of Dreams shown at Rajasthan Fashion Week, she carries you away with swathes of chiffon and georgettes as well as textured brocade fabrics. Check out the video below for a look at the gorgeous fashions (via nevanta.com).
