Bangles & Bungalows has a new look! Months of planning have gone into preparing the new site. I am thrilled to share this redesigned space for an easier, more exciting way to connect with my glamorous world of East/West chic. It all wouldn’t have been possible without the beautiful designs of Rashi Birla coordinated with complex web development by Zoe Rooney.

Why the Refresh?
After over two years on a Blogspot address, my blog was ready to graduate to a dotcom address. I also knew I wanted a more refined look for my brand, without disrupting the spirited personality of the blog.
So what’s behind the new look? The logo emits the brilliance of radiant diamonds, which speak to the blog’s glamorous, yet sophisticated side. Look further and you can see back-to-back gems reveal a play on the B&B of Bangles and Bungalows. I selected a minimal color scheme of black and white with flourishes of gold and blush pink. This is a complete change from my previous, more colorful design. With a cleaner layout, my posts may now speak for themselves.
In an effort to make the site more robust, I also added a go-to resource for must-have South Asian brands. Find links to some of my favorite designers, which can help you infuse an East/West vibe to your style. There is also a shop with pieces that I know you’ll love. Let me know if you have a brand you think should be featured or added!
How to Use this Site:
On the home page, read the latest posts or choose from categories in fashion, beauty, décor and entrepreneurs. Click the pink bar below the slider images to navigate between them. Switch to classic blog mode on the individual category page if that’s your preference. New features I love on the easy-to-navigate home page include links to “My Daily Pinspiration”, the East/West Resources Guide and my Shop.
The redesign is a fabulous new showcase for the blog. With this fresh dose of creativity, I am even more pumped to share my perspective on style. I would love to know your thoughts on the new site. If you are interested in learning more or want to request a media kit, email me at [email protected].
