I cannot get enough off the shoulder tops. All part of the charm of 70s style that has been trending lately. I chose the Topshop Shoulder Tie Print Top, available for $50 at Topshop and Nordstrom. Thank goodness for that collaboration! Otherwise, I’d have a serious Topshop deficit in my life here in St. Louis.
This dark flowering blouse is perfect for a casual evening date night look. I paired it with black suede-ish trousers because you want to look good and feel good, right? Also try balancing the flowy top with skinny jeans for another a great option or tuck it into a bright pencil skirt. There are so many lovely colors in the botanical inspired top that you could go any way with the accessories. I chose different shades of green for my earrings and bag to complement the various leafy details.
Like I said, I cannot get enough of these bare shoulder tops. Shoulders are universally flattering on women, so don’t be afraid to show them off. I styled the same Topshop top in black with a pair of paper bag trousers in jade green. I hope this trend is here to stay just like statement necklaces or jeggings. I could see them easily becoming a wardrobe staple for me. How about you? Are you a fan? Shop the look (or similar pieces) in the blog shop.
