I used to think denim on denim was a fashion crime. Who wants to be caught in a guido tuxedo? But as it turns out, it’s quite the fashion statement when done right. I like to pair light denim with dark to show contrast. Coincidentally the look coordinates with Pantone’s colors of the year – Rose Quartz and Serenity. So if you’re looking for a good complementary color to accessorize with your light denim, blush is a fabulous option. This is a great go-to look when you feel like you have nothing in your closet and you just want to be comfortable.
The weather lately has been amazing, which means I’m not freezing my butt off while taking outfit photos. It’s so crazy to have 60+ degree weather in January. This weekend I checked out Katie’s Pasta and Pizzeria for brunch and I’m a big fan of their toasted ravioli. If you’ve never had toasted ravioli, it’s a St. Louis staple. Actually it’s less toasted and more fried. But that’s the secret behind what makes it delicious. Even Kevin Hart and Ice Cube think it’s a 12 on a scale of 10.
