The Ambience at SPACES office St. Louis
Started in Amsterdam, SPACES has opened coworking spaces all over the world. It has finally arrived in St. Louis to serve freelancers, entrepreneurs, international workers, start-ups, and more.
Revealing a European style, the office is adorned with colorful designer furniture, minimalist décor, glass walls, contemporary lighting, and lots of natural light.
I was able to enjoy a private furnished office for a week courtesy of SPACES. The quiet office offered me a great opportunity to get a considerable amount of work done without life getting in the way. The room was actually quiet enough that I didn’t hear the people around me; but I could still enjoy music out loud from my laptop while I worked.
Each SPACES office is slightly different. What I loved about the St. Louis office was the bright open common area. There’s a space for everything: fun barstools at the kitchen counter for a quick bite, large tables to spread your materials out for a creative project, booths for intimate groups, and a cozy lounge area to hang or have clients wait.

There are even cute blue bikes scattered around the office for a mid-day jaunt around the neighborhood or a ride to Forest Park. And lockers are available to tuck away your belongings like gym bags or photography equipment. Other amenities: send your suit for cleaning, get a massage, call tech support, find support staff, and more.
If you choose to rent a dedicated office, you are free to decorate it as you wish: add removable wallpaper, hang paintings, or bring in your own furnishings. The team at SPACES will even help you furnish your office.
Renting an office at SPACES
SPACES office offers flexible contracts including periods of 1 month, 6 months, 12 months, and 24 months. Currently coworking spaces start at approximately $300, private offices at approximately $650, and team suites may cost up to around $5000.
While a bit more costly than other local coworking places, you get a lot more for your money, including a dedicated staff that acts as an on-site concierge. If you don’t need an office, there are more economical plans for those who prefer the Business Club (common area) instead.
One of the most unique and valuable opportunities SPACES provides is a chance to network and make valuable connections with the tenants around you. They host business events, speakers, and networking lunches to help you grow.
